Musalia Mudavadi, the Prime Cabinet Secretary, has expressed his gratitude to Cabinet Secretary for Public Service Performance and Delivery Management of Kenya Justin Muturi for his exceptional leadership and dedication to advancing public service during his tenure as Cabinet Secretary.
Mudavadi acknowledged Muturi’s tireless efforts in transforming public service, emphasizing the positive impact of his leadership on the sector.
In a statement shared on his verified social media accounts on Tuesday, Mudavadi confirmed that Hon. Muturi officially handed over the Public Service docket to his office, marking the beginning of a seamless transition.
Mudavadi will oversee the duties of the Public Service department on an interim basis while the verification and approval process for the newly appointed Cabinet Secretary is underway.
“We sincerely thank Hon. Justin Muturi for his steadfast leadership and commitment to advancing public service during his time as Cabinet Secretary. His leadership has laid a strong foundation for further progress,” said Mudavadi. “This morning, Hon. Muturi officially handed over his docket to my office, and we are now moving forward with the next steps to ensure a smooth transition and continuity in government operations.”
The Prime Cabinet Secretary also stressed that the temporary oversight of public service duties by his office would reinforce the government’s commitment to efficient governance and accountability.
He assured the public that the transition would not affect ongoing government operations and that the process of appointing a new Cabinet Secretary would be handled swiftly and transparently.
