João Félix’s loan stint at AC Milan will come to an end this season, with the Portuguese forward set to return to Chelsea in June.

It has been clear since early March that Félix would not extend his stay at the Italian club, and the decision has now been confirmed.

Félix, who joined Milan on a loan deal, has impressed in his short time at the San Siro but will now return to Chelsea, where the next steps in his career remain uncertain.

The 24-year-old forward has shown glimpses of his talent, but Milan has opted not to retain him beyond the current campaign.

The future of the Portuguese international is now in Chelsea’s hands, with the Premier League club evaluating their options for Félix.

It remains to be seen whether Chelsea will integrate him into their squad or decide to explore alternative options, including a potential sale or another loan move.

The decision will likely be influenced by Chelsea’s ongoing rebuilding efforts and the evolution of their squad under manager Graham Potter.

Félix has had a rollercoaster journey in recent years, with moves between Atlético Madrid, Chelsea, and now Milan.

His adaptability and flair continue to make him a valuable asset, but with Chelsea’s current forward lineup, it’s unclear whether he will feature in their plans for the upcoming season.

As the season draws to a close, all eyes will be on how Chelsea handles João Félix’s situation, with many expecting the club to make a significant decision regarding his future shortly after his return.
