Uasin Gishu Director enforcement in trouble as resident writes to DPP Hajji!

A Resident of Eldoret Town, Uasin Gishu County has written to the Director of Public Prosecution Nurdin Hajji demanding immediate interdiction of the acting director of enforcement at the Uasin Gishu County government Mr. Kosmas Kerich.
In an Anonymous letter seen by the Hubzmedia, The resident questions why the Uasin Gishu county secretary Mr Edwin Bett has not advised the county public service board to interdict Mr Kerich who is currently battling a criminal case in Court- Case no 831/709/2022.
Mr Kerich is facing charges of threatening to kill Senior Resident magistrate Emilly Kigen on 17th October 2022.
“On 17th October 2022, at the Eldoret Municipal Court Number 6 in Turbo Sub county ,Kerich is said to have uttered the following words against Hon Emily Kigen,‘wewe mwanamke toka hapa ama pia tutakuua’.
The county public service board of Uasin Gishu has been faulted for failing to initiate internal disciplinary measures against the said officer who is currently out on bond.
“This is one man who is the most vicious,ruthless county enforcement officer who has been involved in maiming and assaulting business people in the streets of Eldoret”.
The Statement further says The officer ought to have been interdicted as demanded by chapter six of the constitution.
