This recruitment drive offers opportunities in planning, audit, human resources, examinations administration, research, and supply chain management.

Among the key positions advertised are Deputy Director, Planning and Strategy, and Deputy Director, Internal Audit, both in Grade 3, with one vacancy each.

The council also seeks an Assistant Director for both Planning and Strategy as well as Schools Assessment in Languages and Mathematics/Science (Grade 4), offering specialized roles for educational professionals.

Additionally, KNEC has multiple vacancies for Principal Examinations Officers (Grade 5) and Principal Human Resource Management Officers (Grade 5).

For administrative roles, there are positions for Examination Administrators (Grade 7), Supply Chain Management Assistants, and Human Resource Management Assistants (Grade 9), among others.

The Council is also offering entry-level positions such as Examinations Assistants and Drivers (Grades 9 and 11, respectively). KNEC’s recruitment process underscores its commitment to hiring qualified professionals capable of enhancing the institution’s efficiency and service delivery.

Interested applicants must submit an Application for Employment form (KNEC 2A for external applicants, KNEC 2B for internal ones), alongside a detailed curriculum vitae, copies of academic and professional certifications, and a letter of application.

Additionally, applicants are required to provide details of their current remuneration and contacts of three referees. The deadline for submission is November 5, 2024.

KNEC emphasizes that Grade 3 positions are on five-year renewable contract terms, contingent upon satisfactory performance.

The Council assures potential candidates of a competitive remuneration package commensurate with the roles and responsibilities attached to each position.

Moreover, KNEC reiterates its commitment to equal opportunity, encouraging people with disabilities and women to apply.

The council will only contact shortlisted candidates, and it warns that canvassing will lead to automatic disqualification.
