Eldoret National Polytechnic to Graduate Record 3,500 Students at Historic 19th Ceremony

The Chief Principal of The Eldoret National Polytechnic, Dr. Charles Koech, has officially announced the institution’s 19th Graduation Ceremony, scheduled for December 18, 2024. This milestone event will witness the graduation of over 3,500 students, marking the highest number of graduands in the Polytechnic’s history.
Dr. Koech extended an open invitation to education stakeholders, parents, guardians, graduates, and well-wishers to join in celebrating this significant achievement. “We are excited to celebrate the success of over 3,500 graduands, who have completed their programs in various disciplines this year. It is a testament to the hard work of our students and the dedication of our staff. This is our largest graduation class, and we are incredibly proud of the achievements made by our graduates,” he said.
The ceremony will be graced by Hon. Julius Migos Ogamba, EBS, the Cabinet Secretary for Education, as the Chief Guest. Other dignitaries, including Dr. Esther Muoria, Permanent Secretary in charge of the State Department for TVET, alongside directors and key industry stakeholders, are also expected to attend.
The event will underscore the Polytechnic’s robust partnerships with industry leaders, particularly in its dual training programs. Key partners such as Rivatex East Africa Ltd and Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital will be present, reflecting their pivotal role in providing students with practical training opportunities.
“We value the collaboration with these industry leaders, as it has enabled our students to gain practical experience and enhanced employability. These partnerships reflect our commitment to bridging the gap between education and industry needs,” Dr. Koech remarked.
