Thrilling Action Marks KUSA Tournament at Chebisas High School
Exciting football action unfolded during the KUSA Tournament held at Chebisas High School, where several university teams battled for supremacy in a series of highly competitive matches.
The tournament brought together teams from Egerton University, University of Eldoret, Maasai Mara University, Bomet University College, and Laikipia University, attracting a large crowd of students and sports enthusiasts.
Early Matches
In the opening fixtures, Egerton University edged past Maasai Mara University with a 2–1 victory, displaying impressive coordination and attacking football. Meanwhile, University of Eldoret (UOE) suffered a narrow 1–0 defeat to Bomet University College, in a tightly contested encounter that kept fans on the edge of their seats.
UOE later bounced back strongly in the next round, facing Maasai Mara University before taking on Bomet University College again in a thrilling match that saw University of Eldoret secure a convincing 3–5 victory, showcasing their determination to remain in the competition.

The women’s matches also delivered exciting moments. Laikipia University Ladies battled Egerton University Ladies in a competitive match that ended 3–2 in favor of Laikipia.
In another clash, University of Eldoret Ladies dominated Bomet University College Ladies, sealing a 2–0 win and advancing to the decisive stage of the tournament.

The final match saw University of Eldoret face off against Egerton University in a highly anticipated showdown. Despite a spirited performance from UOE, Egerton University emerged victorious with a 2–0 win, claiming the championship title.
