UoE Trojans rally in second half to sink Egerton Wasps 27–18 in Rift Valley league clash

The University of Eldoret Trojans staged a spirited second-half comeback to defeat visiting Egerton Wasps 27–18 in their Nationwide League Match Day 9 encounter at the UoE Pavilion grounds.
Egerton controlled the first half with superior tempo, crossing the whitewash late in the period and adding a conversion to head into the break with an 18–13 advantage.
However, momentum shifted after halftime as the rains subsided, leaving the wet and heavy ground working against the Wasps’ pacey style. The Trojans adapted quickly, tightening their play and capitalizing on territory to overturn the deficit. Their composed second-half performance earned them unanswered points, sealing a 27–18 victory before an energized home crowd.
