Court:LGBTQ activist Edwin Kiptoo Chiloba had a romantic relation with murder suspect!

A witness in the murder of the Fashion designer and LGBTQ activist Edwin Kiptoo Chiloba told the Eldoret High Court that the deceased had a romantic relationship with the suspect Jackton Odhiambo.
The anonymous witness stated that she was a friend and classmate of the late Chiloba, she went on to tell the court that the deceased had initially introduced Odhiambo as his photographer. Chiloba later confided in her that he was in a romantic relationship with Odhiambo.
During the hearing on Wednesday, Odhiambo’s close family members and friends also testified before Justice Nyakundi.
Ochieng, a freelance photographer narrated to the court the occurrences of December 31 2022 when together with his girlfriend Patricia Nyambura joined Odhiambo and Chiloba at Tamasha nightclub in Eldoret.
The day after, Ochieng mentioned Odhiambo went to their home mid-morning with part of his clothes soaked in blood.
Otieno went on to say that the accused had Chiloba’s phone which was out of charge claiming that Chiloba had forgotten it in the car. Odhiambo then told his friends that he had left Chiloba sleeping at their house 200 meters away.
Ochieng and Nyambura told the court that the information about Chiloba’s tragic death was disclosed to them through social media two days later.
