Activist Morara Kebaso has issued a scathing critique of Kenya’s political elite, accusing them of perpetuating corruption and impoverishing the public.

Speaking passionately, Kebaso argued that the fight for justice goes beyond President William Ruto, targeting a systemic network of corrupt leaders.

“This is not just about Ruto. It’s about a squad of misleaders working together to steal your money while you suffer in poverty and sickness,” Kebaso declared, emphasizing the need for systemic change.

The activist alleged collusion between Ruto and former President Uhuru Kenyatta, accusing the two of shielding each other from accountability. “Uhuru is part of that gang. He shouldn’t pretend to disagree with Ruto when they recently struck a deal. Ruto hasn’t pursued stolen funds from Uhuru’s tenure because they are one family,” he claimed.

Kebaso urged Kenyans to demand leaders of integrity rather than settling for flawed alternatives. “We should not seek a better devil. We have done it before and failed. It’s time for genuine, accountable governance,” he stated.

The remarks come amid growing public frustration over economic hardships and widespread corruption in Kenya’s leadership.
