Purported Pictures of Kapsabet town elicit reactions from Kenyans!

A section of Facebook users have castigated a popular Blogger with a following of over 47k people for purportedly posting images of Kampala city in Uganda depicting the fast growing pace of Kapsabet town in Nandi County ,Rift Valley.
However Hubzmedia digital fact checking team has since established the Kampala images were first uploaded on apricotguesthouse.org on August 4, 2017.
The county government of Uasin Gishu’s communication team has also been cited for disinformation after posting images of a section of road in West Pokot County Handed over by the contractor to the Kenya Urban Roads Authority trying to depict the road infrastructure projects being undertaken by Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii’s Administration.
The images were lifted from Kipchumba Murkomen’s twitter handle, the Cabinet Secretary for Roads and infrastructure development
