Kenyan content creators Nicholas Kioko and Wambo Ashley have announced their separation after several years together and raising three children.

The development has attracted considerable attention from their fans, who had closely followed their relationship and family life through social media and YouTube content.

Kioko and Ashley first made their relationship public several years ago and later welcomed twin boys. Their family grew again in January 2026 when they welcomed a daughter.

The couple had previously shared their excitement about starting a family with their online audience. In December 2022, while announcing that they were expecting twins, they described the pregnancy as a blessing.

“Our hearts are full. Two little sunshines from God. We are excited to announce to you we are expecting mono-mono twins. We will share our journey with you guys. God is Good,” they said at the time.

Their relationship subsequently became a major part of the content they shared with their followers, with the two frequently appearing together and documenting different stages of their lives as parents.

The couple’s latest announcement therefore marks a significant change for fans who had become accustomed to seeing them together.

Their journey into parenthood had also been closely followed online, particularly after they welcomed their twin sons. Kioko and Ashley later celebrated the arrival of their third child, further expanding their family.

The announcement of their separation comes against the backdrop of growing public interest in the private lives of Kenyan digital content creators, whose relationships often become part of the content consumed by their audiences.

For Kioko and Ashley, however, the separation does not end their responsibilities as parents. The two remain connected through their three children and are expected to navigate co-parenting as they pursue their individual lives and careers.

The couple had previously presented a united front while raising their children. Their early pregnancy announcement, for instance, was accompanied by affectionate photographs and messages celebrating the new chapter in their lives.

The announcement has since triggered reactions from their followers, many of whom have expressed surprise given the couple’s public history together.

While details surrounding the reasons for the breakup remain limited, the announcement has shifted attention from their relationship to how they will manage their responsibilities as parents.

Kioko, a former journalist who later built a career as a digital content creator, has established a significant following through his online work. Ashley has also developed her own public profile through their joint and individual content.

The couple’s story reflects the increasingly public nature of relationships involving Kenyan social media personalities, where major family milestones often attract widespread attention.

Their decision to separate comes months after welcoming their third child, making the development particularly significant for followers who have watched their family grow over the years.
