Uasin Gishu:Governor Bii urges Minister Kindiki to expedite title deeds for police land
Lack of Title deeds within Kesess Sub County has hindered the initiation of major development projects by the Government

Uasin Gishu county Governor Jonathan Chelilim has urged Interior cabinet secretary Kithure Kindiki to expedite the process of securing Title deeds for public land especially in Kesses Sub County.
Speaking during the official opening of the office of the county commissioner Kesses sub-county that was graced by CS kindiki ,Chelilim says most of the government land within the sub County have had no Title deeds putting them at risk of being grabbed.
Lack of Title deeds within Kesess Sub County has hindered the initiation of major development projects by the Government and Individual developers.
“For many years, we have been facing this problem of title deeds. We were promised by the government that this issue will be looked into and we are glad that the Minister is here and that our plea will be looked into very soon,” Opined the Governor.
Governor Chelilim has also urged citizens to opt for the alternative justice resolution mechanism over land disputes
“ instead of taking land dispute cases to court , lets make good use of our elders to resolve land and boundary disputes ,it saves on time”Noted Governor Bii
