Uasin Gishu Journalists Donate Food, Pampers & Sanitary Supplies to Incarcerated Mothers and Children at Eldoret GK Prison | Heartwarming CSR Initiative
Women inmates at Eldoret GK Prison share a moment of joy and celebration, reflecting resilience, hope, and the power of community support in restoring dignity and uplifting lives.
The Uasin Gishu Journalists Association (UJA), a Media Council of Kenya–recognized media organization, is implementing a community-focused initiative at Eldoret GK Prison to support incarcerated women and their children. The project aims to improve living conditions by refurbishing women’s wash facilities and providing toys for over 30 children residing with their mothers in the correctional facility.
The initiative is designed to promote dignity, well-being, and a more supportive environment within the prison. UJA is calling on members of the public and partners to support the cause through collaboration and contributions, helping to positively impact the lives of incarcerated women and children.
