Tourism CS Miano Welcomes Global Rugby Community to Nairobi for HSBC SVNS S2

CS Miano identified Kenya as a global tourism destination by establishing the country as *Magical Kenya – the Origin of Wonder*, which shows humanity’s eternal bond with nature and its historic ties to the land.

Hon. Rebecca Miano EGH, the Tourism and Wildlife Cabinet Secretary, has given international rugby players and officials and fans visiting Nairobi for HSBC SVNS Season 2 (S2) a warm welcome which demonstrates Kenya’s growing status as a top global sports and tourism destination.

CS Miano spoke to supporters and teams who came from different nations including Uruguay and Germany and China and Brazil and others, about how Nairobi holds an exceptional distinction as the only city worldwide which contains a national park within its urban limits, providing visitors with an exceptional combination of top-tier athletic competition and natural wildlife and city-based activities.

Miano presented Kenya as a welcoming nation to visitors while explaining that their stay extends beyond city exploration to becoming part of an extended family Miano described Kenyans as people who show their traditional hospitality through their generosity, enabling visitors to feel comfortable in their company.

The Cabinet Secretary requested that visitors take part in activities which let them experience Kenya’s cultural heritage and its various dishes and festive traditions and welcoming communities while exploring the nation beyond its stadiums and because the country possesses one-of-a-kind experiences which cannot be found in other locations.

She hopes that the tournament will create connections through rugby while international visitors will discover Kenya’s natural beauty and cultural heritage, before she concluded her greeting with “Karibuni Kenya.”
