A suspected thief Wednesday escaped death narrowly in Mwanzo estate, Eldoret -Uasin Gishu County after irate members of the public baying for his blood caught him breaking into a house.
The Suspect is said to have stolen a Samsung mobile phone estimated at ksh22,000.
According to the owner of the house he received a call that there was a break in at his house Wednesday morning after he had left for work.

Mwanzo and Mayabi residents have decried increased cases of insecurity calling for enhanced patrols from the Police officers.
It took the intervention of the police to get the thief out of the house , and he has since been taken to the Eldoret Central Police Station
