Manchester United are preparing for a busy summer transfer window, with plans to complete business early, according to head coach Rúben Amorim.

Speaking to the media, Amorim expressed confidence in the club’s ability to attract top talent and emphasized the importance of acting quickly in the market.

“Trust me, there are a lot of players who want to play for Manchester United,” Amorim said. “That’s what I feel… it’s Manchester United. Everyone wants to play for Man United.”

The Portuguese manager, who recently took charge at Old Trafford, stressed that the club’s global stature remains a major draw for elite players.

His remarks will come as a boost to United fans eager to see significant reinforcements following a challenging 2024/25 season that fell below expectations.

Amorim highlighted the importance of moving swiftly during the transfer window to ensure that new signings are integrated into the squad in time for pre-season preparations.

“We really need to do things early this summer,” he added, suggesting that the club has already identified key targets and is determined to avoid the last-minute scrambles that have characterized previous windows.

Manchester United are believed to be focusing on strengthening several areas of the squad, including midfield, central defense, and attack. Early reports suggest that the club has been in advanced discussions with multiple players and their representatives, aiming to finalize deals before the start of Euro 2025, where player values could significantly increase.

The emphasis on early business also reflects a new strategic direction under Amorim’s leadership, with a focus on building a cohesive team capable of competing for major honors next season.
