Kenya, located on the eastern coast of Africa, is one of the most biodiverse countries globally, holding 25% of Africa’s biological diversity. According to the Kenya Wildlife Service, the country boasts 25,000 animal species, 7,000 plant species, and 2,000 fungi and bacteria species. These species thrive in a range of ecosystems, from forests and savannahs to aquatic habitats and mountain peaks, offering diverse wildlife and a rich ecological landscape.
