Preliminary MTRH report reveals Kevin Otieno suffered Multiple Injuries!
Kevin’s friends claim to have witnessed his arrest and confinement at the Eldoret Rescue Centre a place currently referred to as “ Shakahola”
Preliminary report from the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary has revealed 28 year old Kevin Otieno who is purported to have been brutally attacked by the Uasin Gishu County enforcement officers had suffered multiple injuries four days before his untimely death at the Asis garage.
Kevin’s body was transferred to the MTRH Mortuary on 29th May at exactly 1:45pm by police officers from the Eldoret Central police station.
The report further reveals the victim had received treatment at a peripheral hospital.
According to His brother Joseph Odongo, Kevin a trained mechanic had a plastered right leg after he had sustained injuries purported to have been inflicted by the County enforcement officers.

Various Human right Organizations led by Amnesty international and the Kenya National Commission on Human rights have commenced their Investigations into the murder and other human right violations.
Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii has however defended the Eldoret Rescue Centre,

This includes medical care, protection, education, and equipping them with essential skills. We also strive to facilitate their successful reintegration into society.”Noted the Governor
