The U20 squad will depart for Cameroon this Saturday at 9 a.m. on Ethiopian Airlines with a brief stop in Togo (Lome) ,before heading to Yaoundé.

The squad has undergone stringent training, notes KVF second vice chairman and **U20 team manager Kenneth Tonui**, and is set for the task.

“The players have been training diligently at Nyayo National Stadium and are set for the competition. We believe we will produce great results. We highly value the support of NOC-K and the Ministry of Sports, who have been instrumental in enabling the team’s unproblematic preparations,” Tonui added.

The team will return home on August 12 after the tournament ends.

Supporting coach Barasa will be Luka Kariuki, assistant coach, while Bala Conceptor will be providing physiotherapy services to see that the players are in top shape. KVF Secretary General Ismail Chege will head the Kenyan delegation.
