Lionel Messi has heaped praise on Lamine Yamal, the 17-year-old Spanish prodigy, following his standout performances at UEFA Euro 2024.

Messi lauded Yamal’s exceptional talent, stating, “It’s impressive what Lamine Yamal shows… he’s already been a Euro champion with Spain. He’s one of the best in the world.”

Yamal’s contributions were pivotal in Spain’s triumphant Euro 2024 campaign. He made history as the youngest player to feature in the tournament, debuting at 16 years and 338 days, and became the youngest scorer with a remarkable goal against France in the semi-finals.
