Kwale:Government resolves land disputes to attract investors!

Kwale county government has put measures in place to settle land disputes in order to create a conducive environment for investors.
The move is triggered by private developers showing interest to invest in the tourism city of Diani .
Speaking during a handover ceremony of Zuhri Villas owned by five families and Almond Ridge,Kwale county executive tourism ,trade and enterprise development Michael Mutua said the government has a strong resolve to address historical land injustices that have hindered economic development of the region .

The CEC added the county government of Kwale is partnering with investors to transform the development landscape of Diani .
“we will be doing a lot of trade fairs to sell many of these properties not only here in Kwale but even overseas ,in the coming financial year 2023/2024 .It is our business to create an enabling environment to do business around Diani ,” Said Mr .Mutua .
Nashon Onyalo, a developer with the Virshon development company has urged other developers to invest in the tourism destination city of Diani owing to the existing opportunities.
The completion of Dongo kundu by pass ,the expansion of Ukunda airstrip ,the Lungalunga -Bagamoyo duo carriage way are among mega projects expected to open up Diani to opportunities.
