The Late Mercy died on August this year after burns that were allegedly caused by an acid attack.
The body of Mercy arrived in Kenya following interventions by former Nairobi governor Mike Mbuvi Sonko who paid the mortuary and air ticket fees from Saudi Arabia to Kenya.

“We thank Mike Sonko for his support, as a family we had no means of bringing her remains back home and thus we had no peace ,”Said Kiloko.
Mueni Mureithi cousin to late the Sakim added that Mercy went to Saudi Arabia on April but passed on August this year and as a family the load of bringing Mercy home was too much for them to bear and due to the support of Mike Sonko the family will finally lay to rest the remains of Mercy Sakim.
