Eldoret residents were aghast after a renowned Gospel artist in Uasin Gishu County, William Getumbe, walked the streets of Eldoret in adult diapers.
Getumbe carried a placard urging The Famous Kenyan Televangelist Pastor Ezekiel Odero, who is the head of the New Life Prayer Centre and Church based in Kilifi County to help him get married to second wife Njoki Murira a famous tiktoker and online influencer.
The placard had an amatory image of Njoki Murira and the following words directed to pastor Ezekiel, “NIRUDISHIE NYOTA YANGU YA NDOA PASTOR EZEKIEL”.
The Gospel artist traversed the busy streets of Eldoret despite criticism from a section of elderly men who called him out to put on some clothes.
However the artist took his time to explain the reasons forcing him to put on the diapers saying a majority of old people ,women and men with health issues and who suffered urine incontinence faced a lot of stigmatization
“However uncomfortable it appears for an adult to put on the diapers ,many adults are suffering out there living undignified lives due to their inability to hold on urine either due to old age or health complications, my message is let them put on the diapers it will protect their dignity –lets end adult diaper stigmatization” He pleaded .
The social media sensation who has expressed intentions to marry Njoki Murira hopes to traverse all the 47 counties urging Kenyans to embrace use of adult diapers to protect the dignity of senior citizens and the sick.
