All Set for the 2025 Eldoret ASK Show as Exhibitors Finalize Preparations

The stage is set for this year’s first Agricultural Society of Kenya (ASK) Show, Eldoret National Branch, which will take place from March 5 to March 8, 2025.

Exhibitors in Uasin Gishu County are making final preparations for the highly anticipated event, which promises to showcase cutting-edge advancements in agriculture and related sectors.

ASK Eldoret Branch Chairperson, Susan Seron, has urged farmers to attend in large numbers to gain valuable insights into modern farming techniques.

She emphasized that the event will host over 200 exhibitors from various industries, including agriculture, manufacturing, small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and hospitality, among others.

These exhibitors will present the latest innovations and technologies designed to enhance productivity and sustainability.

Seron also revealed that the show will feature international participants from neighboring countries such as Uganda, Tanzania, and Rwanda, who will be showcasing their expertise and innovations.

A media spot check indicated that many farmers have already shown keen interest in the livestock section, as the show is known for its livestock auctions.

Contrary to the misconception that ASK shows primarily cater to children, the event remains a significant platform for agricultural advancement, particularly in Eldoret, a city known for its strong agricultural base.

Addressing the media at the showground after assessing ongoing preparations, Seron announced that this year’s theme will be “Promoting Innovation and Technology in Smart Agriculture.”

She further confirmed the participation of new exhibitors, including the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) and the National Legal Services.

The event is set to attract more than 80,000 attendees, including exhibitors and visitors eager to explore emerging technologies.

President William Ruto is expected to officially open the show on Friday, March 7.

The area MP kesses constituency cpa ruto accompanied by chamber of commerce president Dr ruto will grace the first day of the show.

Govornor Jonathan bii will grace the second day of the show while the CEO mtrh will close of 8th march.

Seron assured attendees that the show will provide farmers with invaluable knowledge on innovative agricultural technologies, particularly in the wake of global climate change challenges.
