Cs Kindiki Must explain why Judy First Choice director has not been arrested?Cherargey

The Senate Standing Committee on Labour and Social Welfare  Chaired by West Pokot Senator Julius Murgor, Thursday held its  sittings in Eldoret where  they met hundreds of  victims who  have claimed to have lost millions of  shillings to First Choice  Recruitment  and  consultancy agency.

Victims of  First Choice Multi million scam broke down into tears  as  they narrated  horrific events of how  some were kidnapped and  threatened after going public over the  scam ,

“I resigned my Job at the  Kenya Ports  authority after  Judy promised  to secure me a better job abroad , I paid  KSh40,000 on behalf of  my brother, I managed to convince my 74 year old mother to sell our only cow in order to raise  an extra ksh 40,000 after  I was promised  a job as  a  cashier abroad, I lost my job no money has be refunded and  the last time I demanded my money I was kidnapped, the matter was reported at  Eldoret Central police  station” Said one of the victims

Another victim narrated how his father died out of  depression after they had sold a parcel of land to facilitate his travel abroad through the agency.

Roselin Makokha  a  former  street vendor narrated  how  she  took a loan of over  KSh400,000  ,money that has  gone to the drain through the  agency

Nandi Senator Samson Cherargey has assured the victims of the support of senate once the committee tables its reporting findings

The Vocal Senator has also promised to put to task The Cabinet Minister for Internal Security Kithure Kindiki and the inspector general of police for failing to arrest Judith Chepchirchir

“We are shocked the same agency continues to recruit more Kenyans into the scam,National Employment authority(NEA) is the enabler of the con agencies in this country”Affirmed Senator Cherargey
