Eldoret:Three arrested with hard drugs,another 58 with illicit brew!

Police officers in Turbo Sub County , Uasin Gishu County have arrested three drug peddlers with at least 375 rolls of Marijuana.
The three were arrested along Mangula, an area that has been identified as a hotspot for hard drugs within Eldoret town.
Turbo Sub County police boss Edward Masibo has confirmed the arrest of the three suspects who are expected to be arraigned in Court,
“We have intensified our operations against hard drugs and illicit brew ,we assure members of the public that the operation will be intensified”
Masibo has urged members of the Public to provide information that will be held in confidence regarding business people and individuals involved in illegal trade.
Elsewhere in Soy Sub County 58 people have been arrested in similar ongoing operations against illicit brew and hard drugs.
Soy police boss Henry Zuma says over 1,000 litres of Chang’aa ,60 litres of Busaa and 4,590 Litres of Kangara were netted and destroyed by police officers ,
“I want to urge our people especially in Kamukunji estate,Vumilia and Jabali estates to shun the trade of illicit brew and sale of hard drugs, no one will be spared in this ongoing operation”Warned Zuma
The 58 were arrested between April 13th and May 6 this year.
