Uasin Gishu:Three health officers arrested by DCI sleuths!
Police officers in Eldoret have arrested three health officers in connection to the theft of a Ksh1.3 M Ultra sound machine that was stolen from Kapteldon Sub County Hospital in Kapseret Sub County,Uasin Gishu.
The three officers were taken to Langas police station where they were later released on a cash bail of Sh10,000 each.
According to the County Criminal Investigating officer Peter Kimulwo, the health facility was not broken into prompting officers from the directorate of criminal investigations to arrest the three health officers stationed at the facility,
“The three will help in the investigations ,there were no visible signs of forced entry into the facility”Noted Kimulwo.
The Kenya National Union of Nurses (KNUN) is scheduled to address the media over the arrest of three of its members on Wednesday next week.
Earlier on a section of the Nurses had complained against an attempt by police officers at Langas Police station to deny the three a cash bail.
