Bishop Dominic Kimengich Pays Condolence Visit to Senator Mandago’s Family
The visitors who came to the service brought them peace through their prayers which took place during their difficult period of mourning.

Bishop Dominic Kimengich from the Catholic Diocese of Eldoret and Coadjutor Archbishop of Mombasa Archdiocese attended the funeral of Gogo Esther Tapsiarga Lelei to support Uasin Gishu Senator Jackson Mandago. The Bishop paid a condolence visit to the Mandago family to personally express his sympathy and stand with them during the time of mourning. Bishop Kimengich described Gogo Esther as a highly respected matriarch who lived her life through her strong faith and her deep love for her family and community. The family should stay together according to him because their prayers will help them through this difficult time of grief.
Bishop Kimengich together with the family and their guests conducted prayers which dedicated the deceased person to God while they also prayed for God to provide peace and strength to the people who were still alive. He reminded those present that Christian doctrine teaches death serves as a painful yet essential pathway which leads to eternal life therefore the family should maintain their hope which rests on their religious faith.
The Mandago family expressed their gratitude to Bishop Kimengich and the Catholic Church because they received both spiritual support and solidarity throughout their difficult period. The visitors who came to the service brought them peace through their prayers which took place during their difficult period of mourning.
The Christian community continues to deliver condolence messages together with prayers to the family who still mourns their loss. The faithful have joined the Mandago family in praying for the peaceful repose of the soul of Gogo Esther Tapsiarga Lelei and for God’s grace and strength to sustain the family throughout the mourning period.
