President William Samoei Ruto’s ambitious endeavor to plant 15 billion trees by 2032 is gaining momentum, with over one million trees already planted nationwide. This initiative underscores a resolute commitment to the restoration of forests and wetlands. President Ruto has mandated each ministry to lead weekly tree planting activities, aiming to bolster the country’s forest cover.

Nominated MP Wainaina has issued a clarion call to farmers and individuals across Kenya, urging them to support the President’s directive by ensuring that available spaces are adorned with trees. This collective effort is essential in mitigating the impacts of climate change and safeguarding the nation’s natural resources for future generations.
