Despite David de Gea agreeing to sign a new contract after the summer, the Red devils are not withdrawing from their plan to sign Inter Milan’s goalie Andre Onana who Chelsea are also eying to buy as they plan on releasing Edouardo Mendy on loan and sell Kepa Arrizabalaga.
The United are facing disappointment from Tottenham Hotspurs who are indecisive in releasing their Captain and star player Harry Kane to united is what is making the pursuit for the Keeper so tough and blurry.
“Signing a top striker is a priority but Spars do not want to sell Kane,” said Ten Hag expressing his disappointment.
The United’s intention to move Chelsea’s striker Mason Mount has also been delayed as Chelsea have increased their demand to release their forward player as when Manchester United earlier laid down an open €40M to sign the player.
The Red devils are now left to make decision basing on whether to pay expensively for the goalkeeper or for the outstanding number 9.
