“It’s abstruse why we can’t get our savings nor get loans from this company ,every time we ask for our money back they continuously give us contradicting dates of when to get our monies ,we just want our monies back”Said Leah Cheruto Tuikong.
Leah notes she was convinced by a certain teacher to save with the company with the hopes of getting a loan six times her savings ,and she began saving with them on 30th January however efforts to get a loan nor her personal savings in order to pay her child’s school fees have been futile.
They came to us at Tebeson Village in Mosoriot Nandi County, Used our daughters to convince us to join the Chembe Merchant Limited, many have saved with the company some as little as Sh 300,000 we are worried that we could have lost our monies with this organization Said one of the residents from Nandi county.

The Officer commanding the central police station however managed to calm them down asking them to eschew violence and instead write statements that will help the police with the investigations.
