Candidates who will be sitting for their 2023 National examinations especially KCPE are advised to avoid fraud cases that may lead to the nullification of their results considering this will be their final examination under the 8-4-4 educational curriculum.

“I take this opportunity to first wish our candidates the  best of luck in their national examinations which are  set to commence next week, I must confirm every  student  who has  registered for the examinations must   sit for the examinations , it’s  the  government’s policy  to have  100 percent  transition ”, Affirmed  Samow.

The Commissioner  has  implored on parents  to accord maximum support  to their  students  and  especially  those sitting for the national exams to ensure they get to the next level  with or without school fees.

“This being the last group, we will ensure that every student is able to transit  to secondary level with or without fees and this is in line with the  presidential order”, added Samow.

Abdullahi cautioned  some of the  government  officers  who collude with schools and  students with an aim of  cheating or engaging in  exam irregularities.

“Let’s avoid exams irregularities because if your exams get cancelled you will have no chance to re-sit the exams next year because by next year the new curriculum will start, and to the  rogue government officers we will come for you ”, Warned  Samow.
