Candidates who will be sitting for their 2023 National examinations especially KCPE are advised to avoid fraud cases that may lead to the nullification of their results considering this will be their final examination under the 8-4-4 educational curriculum.
Speaking at a graduation ceremony held at Ansaru Diini Academy, Turbo Sub County Assistant County Commissioner, Abdullahi Samow while wishing the candidates good luck in their upcoming exams slated for 30th October encouraged them to put in their best efforts in order to actualize their dreams
“I take this opportunity to first wish our candidates the best of luck in their national examinations which are set to commence next week, I must confirm every student who has registered for the examinations must sit for the examinations , it’s the government’s policy to have 100 percent transition ”, Affirmed Samow.
The Commissioner has implored on parents to accord maximum support to their students and especially those sitting for the national exams to ensure they get to the next level with or without school fees.
“This being the last group, we will ensure that every student is able to transit to secondary level with or without fees and this is in line with the presidential order”, added Samow.
Abdullahi cautioned some of the government officers who collude with schools and students with an aim of cheating or engaging in exam irregularities.
“Let’s avoid exams irregularities because if your exams get cancelled you will have no chance to re-sit the exams next year because by next year the new curriculum will start,and to the rogue government officers we will come for you ”, Warned Samow.
Religious leaders led by Ali Adan have asked the parents to be vigilant with their children especially during this long holiday to prevent cases of early pregnancies and drug abuse.
