Former Nairobi Governor Mike Mbuvi alias Sonko has hit out at the previous regime for frustrating some of the leaders allied to President William Ruto’s camp prior to the general election held in August.
Addressing the crowd at Koilel,Uasin Gishu County where various leaders allied to the Kenya Kwanza coalition met for a thanksgiving ceremony to celebrate their victory into government,  the former head claimed they will not revenge the pain and intimidation they underwent but won’t forgive at the same time.
“We are not people who do paybacks, but for all the suffering that we went through, we won’t forget.  We won’t forget the kind of deeds we underwent in my friend’s Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta previous regime.” Remarked Sonko.
Criticizing the former regime, Sonko claims to be among the first people who hit out at Uhuru’s government for witch hunt and sideling the current President while he was the deputy president during Jubilee’s reign in power.
“I think I was the first to see our current president is being played. I started this around 2017 and I said there is a plan for our current president to be sidelined. We were at PCEA church ridgeways and all I said came to pass. They said I am not trustworthy but there are secrets you can’t keep to yourself. We were called all branded all sorts of names with I eventually losing the seat given to me by the people of Kenya.” Added Mike Mbuvi.
The former Member of Parliament went ahead to call for all those who were involved in the various scandals that were labeled on the deputy president be brought to book.
“We have forgiven the former president may God grant him a long peaceful life but all those people who were involved in the various crimes from the Covid millionaires to those who stole from Kemsa must be brought to bookand what belongs to Kenyans be recovered.” He Concluded.
