Police Probe Death of Woman Found in Lodging After Checking In With Male Companion

Police are investigating the death of a woman whose body was discovered inside a lodging facility only hours after she checked in with a man. The incident has prompted detectives to launch a manhunt for the male companion, who reportedly left the premises before the woman’s body was found.
According to preliminary investigations, the woman and the unidentified man booked a room at the lodging before spending some time together. Witnesses told investigators that the man later walked out of the facility alone, reportedly informing staff that the woman had remained behind in the room.
Concern arose when the woman failed to leave the room after several hours. Employees later entered the room to check on her and found her unresponsive. They immediately alerted police, who arrived at the scene and began processing the area for evidence.
Crime scene investigators documented the room and collected materials that may help establish what transpired before the woman’s death. The body was later moved to a mortuary, where a post-mortem examination is expected to determine the exact cause of death.
