Mudavadi Condoles With Family of Former Nominated MP Joseph Hamisi Denar

Prime Cabinet Secretary and Cabinet Secretary for Foreign and Diaspora Affairs, Musalia Mudavadi, paid a visit on Sunday to the family of the late Joseph Hamisi Denar in Nairobi, offering them words of comfort and government support as they mourn the loss of the former legislator.
Mudavadi recalled that the late Denar was a man of great principle, humility, and dedication to public service. He expressed this in his statement during a past event where he represented the Amani National Congress Party as a Nominated Member of Parliament.
During the visit, Mudavadi reflected on Denar’s tenure in Parliament, citing that the late politician encapsulated those values the ANC Party sought to advance. Being the party leader at the time of his nomination, Mudavadi credited him with playing a key role in strengthening the party’s footing and toward greater democratic gains for Kenya.
“He was a man of integrity and admirable humility,” Mudavadi noted, recalling Denar’s unwavering dedication to serving Kenyans. “His contribution to the party and to the democratic space in our country will not be forgotten.”
The Prime Cabinet Secretary spent time with the grieving family, assuring them that the Government stands with them at this difficult moment. He prayed for God’s comfort upon Denar’s loved ones, emphasizing that the late MP’s service to the nation had left an enduring impact.
Mudavadi urged the family to draw strength from the knowledge that Denar’s life touched many and his work meaningfully contributed to the country he served with loyalty. He added that Denar’s legacy would continue to inspire future leaders and citizens committed to integrity and public good.
“As a country, we honor his memory while as a family, may you find peace in knowing he served diligently and left behind a legacy of service,” Mudavadi said.
