Hon. Jonah Biwot Tireto guided committed members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Chepkuchuru to a unique church service at their junior and senior church camp closing ceremony.

The ceremony, marked by powerful sermons, music, and prayers, brought church members, parents, and students together to reflect for a moment, give thanks, and be inspired. Hon. Tireto received a warm welcome from the congregation and leaders of the church for his sustained support towards youth development and spiritual programs.

In a touching gesture, Hon. Tireto did a big act of kindness by donating 37 students brand new briefcases. These young ladies and gentlemen are soon to embark on their academic journey as they enter various universities across the nation.

His gift, while humility incarnate in form, is very symbolic. Not only does it assist the students in spiritually practical terms as they begin their studies, but it also signifies strongly their encouragement and confidence of purpose.

During his address at the ceremony, Hon. Tireto emphasized the importance of education, spiritual grounding, and community cohesion. He challenged the students to remain focused, have strong values, and be proper representatives of their communities with dignity and purpose.

This is not a present. It’s a statement to our youths that we trust them,” he said. “Faith-led education is the foundation of leadership and achievement.”
