Former Keses Member of Parliament, Hon. Swarup Ranjan Mishra finally joins United Democratic Alliance party (UDA)

Former Keses Member of Parliament, Hon. Swarup Ranjan Mishra has finally joined United Democratic Alliance party (UDA),Nine months after losing in the August 2022 general elections.
Mishra was defending the seat as an independent candidate after dropping his Jubilee party ticket that was then unpopular in the President’s backyard.
This move is considered to have been his greatest political mistake that saw him floored by the incumbent Member of parliament CPA Julius Ruto.
At today’s event held at the UDA headquarters Nairobi; Mishra declared his allegiance as he joined President William Ruto’s ruling party. Welcoming him was the UDA’s secretary general Honorable Cleophas Malala.
“It’s time to set our differences aside and join the president in his struggle to revive the country’s economy and we are welcoming everyone,” said Cleophas.
“I am ready to work with the government and His Excellency president William Ruto to try and bring the country back to balance.” Said Mishra
Mishra has been funding a program to help fund students from various institutions in Keses and has promised that even though he is out of office he will continue supporting the said program that he initiated.
