Police have launched investigations into the deaths of a couple whose bodies were discovered in the Sogomo area of Eldoret in circumstances suspected to be linked to a romantic dispute.

The discovery has left residents shocked, with detectives working to establish what happened before the two were found dead.

Police officers visited the scene and documented evidence as part of efforts to determine the circumstances surrounding the deaths. Investigators are also looking into claims that a love triangle could have contributed to the incident.

The bodies were taken to the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital mortuary in Eldoret, where postmortem examinations are expected to establish the cause of death.
