By Llyod Ayago
Diesel Power Petrol station Thursday opened a new branch in the first growing town of Eldoret along the Mandago road next to Dola maize milling company.
The 22nd branch will augment the company’s several branches dotted in and outside of Eldoret town with an aim of bringing its services closer to its clients.
“Eldoret Town will soon be a City, that means it will attract more businesses , Diesel Power is ready to power those businesses”Said Elvis Chumo.
Chumo has hailed the president’s move to have oil importers import fuel into the country using the Shilling, a move he claims will help stabilize fuel prices.
“we will get better margins by buying the fuel using the Kenyan currency, this will also benefit the country by stabilizing fuel prices, hence accelerating the company’s economic growth.
Mrs Mary Boinett called for the stabilization of the country’s tranquility in order to promote a conducive business environment that will see better circulation of the Kenyan shilling.

“First I want to thank the lord for our government due to its bold decision to use The Kenya Shilling instead of the already scarce US dollar in the importation of fuel , the shilling will circulate in the country and this means more money to Kenyans” Said Mary Boinett.
Diesel power intends to open another two new branches in other parts of the country in the course of the year before opening its wings to the international market.
