The Brazilian Football Federation (CBF) has revealed that it expects Carlo Ancelotti to officially begin his duties as head coach of the national team during the first week of June.

This marks a significant step in Brazil’s preparation for upcoming international fixtures, with Ancelotti set to take charge of the Seleção ahead of the FIFA Club World Cup.

According to sources within the federation, the early appointment was a non-negotiable condition. Brazil made it clear from the outset that they would not be willing to wait until July, insisting that Ancelotti’s role begin before the Club World Cup kicks off.

This approach underscores Brazil’s urgency to stabilize its coaching staff and begin working with the Italian tactician as soon as possible.

Ancelotti, who is currently managing Spanish giants Real Madrid, has long been linked with the Brazil job. His calm demeanor, tactical brilliance, and proven track record at the highest levels of European football made him an ideal candidate in the eyes of the CBF.

With formalities expected to be completed shortly, Ancelotti’s transition from club to international football appears imminent. His arrival is expected to bring both strategic discipline and renewed confidence to a Brazilian side eager to reclaim its dominance on the global stage.

While the CBF has yet to make an official announcement regarding the signing date, preparations are already underway to welcome the legendary manager.

With his appointment, Brazil signals its intent to rebuild with experienced leadership at the helm — and with the Copa America and World Cup qualifiers on the horizon, Ancelotti’s early involvement could be crucial.

All eyes will now be on the formal proceedings as Brazil inches closer to ushering in a new era under Carlo Ancelotti.
