Real Madrid immediate former Manager Carlo Ancelotti has lauded FC Barcelona’s performance in securing the 2024–25 La Liga title, acknowledging their consistent and attractive playing style.
Barcelona clinched the championship with a 2–0 victory over RCD Espanyol on May 15, 2025, under the guidance of coach Hansi Flick. This triumph marked the club’s 28th league title and completed a domestic double, having also won the Copa del Rey and the Spanish Super Cup .
Ancelotti, who is set to depart Real Madrid at the end of the season to take over as Brazil’s national team coach, expressed his admiration for Barcelona’s achievements.
He commended their tactical discipline and attacking prowess, stating, “They were the most consistent team in the league and played very beautiful football. Yes, they deserved to win this title” .
