Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has addressed the team’s recent Champions League quarter-final exit to Arsenal, emphasizing unity within the club and highlighting its remarkable achievements over the past decade.
“We are hurt, but you cannot always win,” Ancelotti stated during a press conference. “Questioning a club that has won 30 titles in 11 years is misleading to me.”
He expressed gratitude towards his players, acknowledging their role in securing two UEFA Champions League titles during his tenure.
“Let me thank all these players, as they gave me the chance to win two UCL titles in four years. It’s not something easy,” he remarked.
Despite the disappointment of the European exit, Ancelotti reaffirmed there are no internal issues within the club. “There is no problem with the president, no problem with the club, no problem with the players,” he clarified.
Under Ancelotti’s leadership, Real Madrid has achieved significant success, including winning the La Liga title and the Copa del Rey. The team remains in contention for additional silverware this season, aiming to add to their impressive trophy haul.
Ancelotti’s remarks serve as a reminder of the club’s sustained excellence and his commitment to maintaining its high standards. As Real Madrid continues to compete on multiple fronts, the focus remains on unity and resilience in pursuit of further success.
