A 22 Year old suspected to have sodomized and murdered 12 year old son

Police in Eldoret have launched a manhunt for a 22 year old man who is the prime suspect in the Murder of his own child whose lifeless body was discovered by the road side at Koilel farm in Ainabkoi Sub County, Uasin Gishu County.
The 22 year old who is also believed to be a man of cloth is suspected to have sodomized his 12 year old son whose body was transferred to the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary in bad condition on Thursday morning.
Uasin Gishu County Police Commander Benjamin Mwathi says the young boys’ bloodied clothes were identified at the man’s house in Ilula.
“Members of the Public raised the alarm,the young man was using a Probox vehicle that has since been impounded by the police, at the man’s house the young boys clothes were discovered in blood stains as well as a hammer that is suspected to have been used to hit the deceased on the head” Said Mwathi.
The 22 year old is still at large and police have launched a manhunt for him, he will be apprehended. Assured the County police boss.
The Commander added that the police are awaiting a postmortem report.
