FCA -KENYA EXTENDS SUPPORT TO FAMILIES IN KERIO VALLEY TO FIGHT HUNGER AND PROMOTE PEACE

The Finn Church Aid Organization Kenya (FCA) has donated 8 generators and livestock
to empower residents of the Kerio Valley in the North Rift region with Ann aim of empowering the communities within the valley to produce food and earn an income.

The efforts are also aimed at mitigating against hunger in the area that has for long been affected by banditry .

The generators and the water pumps will be used by the youth and women groups in the Kerio valley to irrigate their farms and produce food for consumption and sale.

The initiatives will also contribute greatly in promoting peace within the Kerio Valley that is rich with biodiversity.
