The Eldoret New Law Courts Complex to be Complete by November 2023

The completion of the New Eldoret Law Courts Complex is expected by November next year.
The Construction of the new court building was presided over by the Chief Magistrate Martha Koome on February this year.

Speaking to Hubzmedia The Eldoret Chief magistrate Dennis Mikoyan Noted the completion of the new court complex will deepen access to justice by addressing challenges of space through provision of space and modern enabling amenities for an expanded workforce,
“The construction for the new building is still in progress and we hope that by November next year it will be complete to serve the North-rift citizenry, “said the Chief Magistrate.

The Chief Justice Martha Koome while presiding over the Construction of the new building , exuded confidence that the Modern facility once complete will help expedite justice for Kenyans seeking Court Services .
At the Moment the Eldoret Law court has ten magistrates who are tirelessly working on the 27,000 cases, a majority of which are under the Family Division.
The existing Law Court Building was condemned for demolition by the Then Ministry of Public works , and its only in this year that the Judiciary allocated funds towards the construction of a modern Law Court Complex.
