A.C.K. Chepsaita Senior School Unveils New Administration Block, Labs and Dormitory in M-PESA Foundation Partnership

The A.C.K. Chepsaita Senior School community on Tuesday 8th September 2026, officially held its handing-over ceremony for three transformative new facilities funded and constructed by the M-PESA Foundation.
The invitation, issued by the Board of Management, Principal, Staff and Students, confirmed the ceremony at 9:00 AM at A.C.K. Chepsaita Senior School would mark the formal handover of the newly constructed Administration Block, Science Laboratories and Dormitory.
These transformative facilities have been funded and constructed by the M-PESA Foundation, in partnership with the school, to enhance the learning environment and support the academic and holistic development of students. The project falls under the Foundation’s “Empowering Futures” pillar.
The occasion was graced by the School Patron, Farouk Kibet, President William Ruto’s Aide, who joined the school community and distinguished guests in celebrating the milestone. As Patron, Kibet has been central to mobilizing support for the school whose motto is “Drips of Excellence.”
The official poster shows the completed infrastructure — a two-storey ACK Chepsaita Administration and Laboratories Block, plus modern low-rise dormitory and classroom blocks with green roofing — all branded as built with support from M-PESA Foundation.
The event comes after months of construction work under the theme “Building Today, Transforming Tomorrow.” The new administration block is expected to improve school management and staff operations, while the modern science laboratories will boost practical learning for the Competency-Based Curriculum (CBC). The new dormitory will ease congestion and improve boarding welfare for learners.
Speaking ahead of the ceremony, school officials said: “Join us as we celebrate a new chapter in the growth of A.C.K. Chepsaita Senior School and the continued pursuit of excellence. Your presence will be highly appreciated.”
The handover at Chepsaita is part of M-PESA Foundation’s broader national program investing in school infrastructure, health and environmental conservation. For Chepsaita, located in Turbo Constituency, the investment is expected to raise academic performance, increase enrollment, and position the school as a model A.C.K.-sponsored institution in Uasin Gishu County.
The ceremony included dedication prayers by Anglican Church clergy, facility tours, and addresses by Hon. Farouk Kibet and Foundation representatives.
