A 20 year old man has been sentenced to serve two years in prison after he pleaded guilty to committing an unnatural act with a cow on 11th Sep this year at Seretio village in Moiben Sub County, Uasin Gishu.
The accused Billy Kipchumba who is a farm worker narrated to The Eldoret principal Magistrate Caroline Wamittah how he used a condom while performing the bizarre act,Kipchumba who was remorseful pleaded with the court to forgive him.
“Your honour ,am pleading with the court to forgive me this is the first time I have committed such an offence,I had a strong sexual lust that I could not control and this must be the work of the devil”He pleaded
The Owner of the cow shocked the court when he narrated how he found the accused pants down after hearing a commotion at his cowshed at around 0700hrs on Monday.
Kipchumba had earlier on confessed to a police officer that the cow had “winked” at him wagging its tail and that prompted him to commit the offence punishable by law under section 162 (b) of the penal code.
“I have heard and considered the evidence adduced in court and I find the accused guilty as charged” Stated the magistrate.
All animals should be treated with respect and dignity as human beings I therefore sentence you to two years in jail Added the Principal magistrate.
The accused has 14 days to appeal the ruling.
