Interior Cabinet Secretary Kithure Kindiki has cautioned leaders who will be found organizing or inciting protests their security details will be withdrawn.
CS Kindiki has Clearly affirmed the ongoing mass protests led by the opposition party will not be condoned, labeling them as unlawful and acts of ‘terrorism’.
Speaking at the opening of a police station in Kiserian on Thursday, Kindiki affirmed that the government will not be lenient with leaders involved in breaching the law.
“Hao magaidi wa kisiasa tunawaweka katika kundi moja la ugaidi. That was nothing short of terrorism,” he said.
“Even government leaders should abide by the law, and if you go against the law whether you are in the opposition or the government, we will have no choice but to deal with you, “he warned.
