Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii Mourns the Passing of His Brother

Uasin Gishu Governor Jonathan Bii has expressed deep sorrow following the passing of his brother, Samuel Kiptum Bungei.
“I am deeply saddened by the passing of my dear brother, Samuel Kiptum Bungei. His loss is a profound blow to our family,” Governor Bii stated, referring to Bungei by his family name, Kap Chelilim.
On Sunday evening, the governor joined family, friends, and community members in Chemororoch, Kipsomba Ward, to mourn and honor his late brother’s memory.
“As we come to terms with this painful reality, we find comfort in the overwhelming love, prayers, and words of encouragement from neighbors, friends, and family,” he added.
The governor extended his gratitude to those who have stood with his family during this difficult time, acknowledging the support as a source of strength amid grief.
