Police arrest a 22 year old suspected to have Sodomized and murdered a juvenile

Police officers drawn from the directorate of criminal investigations Thursday evening managed to arrest a 22 year old man suspected to have sodomized and killed a 12 year old.

Erick Kiptoo Kipsang was arrested at Illula area near a dam trying to commit suicide.

The said suspect had deep cuts on his left and right hands.

According to the Uasin Gishu county police boss Benjamin Mwathi the victims clothes that were soiled in blood were retrieved at the suspects house.

Another suspect , a 73 year old man has also been arrested in connection to the murder,while a probox vehicle that was spotted to have dumbed the body of the juvenile near Koilel farm was also impounded by the police.

The body of the 12 year old ,who is a kin to the suspect is currently at the Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary awaiting a postmortem.
